Trade Settlement Analyst | Night Shift | KL | Bilingual - Eng & Chinese

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Trade Settlement Analyst to join our cryptocurrency operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely settlement of cryptocurrency trades, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining operational integrity. You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to streamline settlement processes and contribute to the efficiency of our trading operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of blockchain technologies or a high level of interest in digital assets.

• Professional fluency in English and Bahasa Cina (speaking, reading, and typing) is required.
• 2-5 years of experience in trade settlement, financial operations, or cryptocurrency operations.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency exchanges, wallets, and blockchain technologies is highly preferred.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance in cryptocurrency trading and settlement.
• Certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or blockchain-specific credentials are a plus.
• Willingness to work 5 working days with 2 off days (4:00pm - 1:00am) including public holidays.
• Ability to proactively and independently work towards meeting targets and goals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end settlement process for cryptocurrency trades across multiple exchanges and platforms.
• Reconcile transactions and investigate discrepancies between trade details and settlement records.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve settlement issues in a timely manner.
• Work with counterparties, custodians, and internal teams to address discrepancies effectively.
• Collaborate with technology and operations teams to automate settlement workflows.
• Continuously improve processes to enhance operational efficiency and minimize risks.
• Liaise with brokers, exchanges, custodians, and other counterparties to ensure accurate and timely settlements.
• Provide regular updates on settlement statuses to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure all settlements adhere to regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Generate and review reports on trade settlements, discrepancies, and operational metrics.
• Leverage knowledge of blockchain technology, wallets, and custodial solutions in the settlement process.
• Stay updated on industry trends and settlement protocols for digital assets.
