Chemistry Lab Technician

Job Description Summary

• Perform chemical and physical analyses in the chemistry laboratory, and maintain all laboratory equipment, chemicals, and glassware in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
• Responsible for executing all analyses, as well as maintaining and calibrating the equipment in the Chemistry Laboratory.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform chemical and physical testing on manufacturing samples.
• Ensure that all tests are carried out as outlined in the Basic Operating Procedure (BOP).
• Prepare and standardize chemicals used in the lab.
• Properly document and record all test results.
• Maintain and/or calibrate all laboratory equipment.
• Ensure adherence to the company’s Environmental, Safety, and Health policies.
• Support 5S activities in the laboratory.
• Carry out special projects as directed by the supervisor.
• Complete Kaizen or continuous improvement projects.
