Implement and ensure the preventive maintenance program is carried out for equipment, vehicles, NAVAID system, ATCS, AGL, and line marking.
Update the SOP, checklist, and manuals related to the maintenance of the airport.
Maintain and update the airport drawing.
Lead and manage FMD staff and carry out maintenance works on mechanical, civil, and electrical equipment efficiently with a focus on cost optimization.
Prepare detailed scopes of work and bills of quantities (BQ) for any projects or outsourced repair works.
Prepare a list of spares, materials, and mechanical items required for in-house maintenance.
Prepare the store/warehouse stock tracking report on a monthly basis.
Prepare the FMD monthly performance report for client’s review.
Conduct vendor evaluation and performance assessment biannually.
Ensure NAVAID and ATCS are maintained according to the SLA between TM and SATS.
Ensure vehicles registered under trading license are in the best condition before sending to JPJ for biannual inspection by Puspakom.
Ensure the availability of fire vehicles for the Airport Fire Rescue Service (AFRS) to meet Airport Category 5 requirements.
Maintain, manage, and ensure the availability of all operational equipment, security equipment, and vehicles used by SATS unit, including but not limited to AFRS, AVSEC, and airport operations.
Assist other groups in conducting maintenance works on all mechanical systems & equipment.
Monitor and ensure sufficient fuel levels for generators at all substations.
Coordinate with airport operations regarding the condition of the airport mechanical, electrical, and/or civil maintenance for the NOTAMs.
Prepare and conduct training on mechanical systems for staff in the maintenance sector.
Attend and respond to airport and aircraft emergencies.
Coordinate sufficient manpower within 30 minutes response time during medevac.
Perform any other tasks as directed by the Airport Manager or immediate superior.
Education / Professional Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) or any discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of working experience as an executive specializing in planning, development, logistics, construction, and maintenance works related to aerodrome facilities is encouraged to apply.
Skills:
Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to clearly communicate and share solutions with team members.
Comprehensive knowledge of facilities management, including civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering.
