Job description

We are looking for a proactive Senior HR Executive with a strong background in high-volume hiring and retail recruitment, to join our expanding team. This role is pivotal in managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring timely and quality hires that align with business goals, and driving initiatives that enhance our employer brand and employee engagement. Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  1. Lead the recruitment process from sourcing and interviewing to selection, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
  2. Utilize a variety of channels to source and attract candidates, including job boards, social media, industry associations, and schools.
  3. Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand team requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  4. Ensure job descriptions are continuously updated and aligned with business objectives.
  5. Conduct comprehensive interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  6. Provide insights on compensation trends and market salary benchmarks to guide recruitment decisions.
  7. Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a seamless transition and positive experience.
  8. Ensure full compliance with labor laws and company policies throughout the recruitment and onboarding processes.
  9. Maintain open lines of communication with hiring managers to track recruitment progress and update timelines.
  10. Assist in offer preparation and the negotiation of compensation packages.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  1. Support in HR projects and employee welfare activities to enhance work efficiency and workplace happiness.
  2. Contribute to the development of programs aimed at enhancing employee morale, satisfaction, and retention.
  3. Foster a positive work environment by resolving employee conflicts with empathy and professionalism.
  4. Lead or contribute to organizing engaging activities that promote bonding, relaxation, and joy, creating opportunities for our team to come together and embrace the HOOGA way of working.
  5. Work closely with hiring managers to monitor the progress of new employees, addressing any concerns or challenges.
  6. Ensure probation reviews are completed in a timely manner and provide support in addressing performance-related issues.

HR Operations & Administration

  1. Provide support for HR system updates and ensure accurate employee data management.
  2. Handle all recruitment-related documentation and maintain accurate records within HR systems.
  3. Regularly update and maintain tracking databases for hiring status, employee movements, and other relevant HR metrics.

Requirement :

  1. Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or its equivalent.
  2. Proven work experience (3-5 years) as an HR Executive or similar role.
  3. At least 2-3 years of recruitment experience, with a focus on mass hiring and high-volume recruitment in the retail home and living or fast fashion industry preferred.
  4. Familiar with labor laws and recruitment compliance requirements.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
  7. Multitasking abilities to manage multiple roles simultaneously.
  8. Self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  9. Positive attitude, team spirit, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  10. Ability to communicate effectively in English, Malay, and Chinese is preferred to support a diverse workforce.
