We are looking for a proactive Senior HR Executive with a strong background in high-volume hiring and retail recruitment, to join our expanding team. This role is pivotal in managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring timely and quality hires that align with business goals, and driving initiatives that enhance our employer brand and employee engagement. Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Lead the recruitment process from sourcing and interviewing to selection, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
- Utilize a variety of channels to source and attract candidates, including job boards, social media, industry associations, and schools.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand team requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Ensure job descriptions are continuously updated and aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Provide insights on compensation trends and market salary benchmarks to guide recruitment decisions.
- Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a seamless transition and positive experience.
- Ensure full compliance with labor laws and company policies throughout the recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Maintain open lines of communication with hiring managers to track recruitment progress and update timelines.
- Assist in offer preparation and the negotiation of compensation packages.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Support in HR projects and employee welfare activities to enhance work efficiency and workplace happiness.
- Contribute to the development of programs aimed at enhancing employee morale, satisfaction, and retention.
- Foster a positive work environment by resolving employee conflicts with empathy and professionalism.
- Lead or contribute to organizing engaging activities that promote bonding, relaxation, and joy, creating opportunities for our team to come together and embrace the HOOGA way of working.
- Work closely with hiring managers to monitor the progress of new employees, addressing any concerns or challenges.
- Ensure probation reviews are completed in a timely manner and provide support in addressing performance-related issues.
HR Operations & Administration
- Provide support for HR system updates and ensure accurate employee data management.
- Handle all recruitment-related documentation and maintain accurate records within HR systems.
- Regularly update and maintain tracking databases for hiring status, employee movements, and other relevant HR metrics.
Requirement :
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or its equivalent.
- Proven work experience (3-5 years) as an HR Executive or similar role.
- At least 2-3 years of recruitment experience, with a focus on mass hiring and high-volume recruitment in the retail home and living or fast fashion industry preferred.
- Familiar with labor laws and recruitment compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
- Multitasking abilities to manage multiple roles simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Positive attitude, team spirit, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, Malay, and Chinese is preferred to support a diverse workforce.
