Reporting to Group CFO and assist to oversee the smooth and efficient running of the Accounts Department.
Job Description
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Finance & Accounts Department.
Preparation of accounts, tax, and audit of the company and ensure they are in line with the accounting standards.
Responsible for monthly, quarterly, yearly, and ad hoc Group reporting, annual budgeting, forecasts, and analysis of group financial performance, cost control, and variance analysis.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other statutory bodies.
Assist senior management and BOD in areas such as internal control, compliance with internal policies, and systems efficiency.
Manage all financial, accounting, and tax compliance functions in accordance with statutory and tax requirements.
Make continuous improvements to the reporting processes and operational efficiency of the business units within the group.
Preparation of audit and tax schedules for annual filing.
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and possess professional certification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA).
Experienced in computerized accounting systems, preferably SAP.
At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
Familiar with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Familiar with the reporting standards and requirements of a public listed company.
Literacy in accounting software and other computer applications.
Committed sense of urgency, responsible, and hard working.
Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Applicants must be willing to work in Petaling Jaya.
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
