Chinese Speaking Accounts Specialist (Work From Home)

  • Plan, schedule and conduct periodic checks on different customers’ accounts
  • Perform onboarding of new customer accounts e.g. setup COAs
  • Set up and prepare the data in the system for testing e.g. create journal entries
  • Support and perform accounting parallel runs for projects for month-to-month checks
  • Execute the test cases and generate the required outputs/reports
  • Provide prompt support to the customers’ accounting team and work with in-house software team on troubleshooting when required
  • Analyse and validate the accuracy of the generated results
  • Check for compliance with financial accounting standard
  • Check for compliance with regulatory requirements e.g. IRAS
  • Other duties as assigned by Management / Operations Manager

Requirements:

  • Diploma or University Degree in Accountancy or related disciplines
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in handling full set of accounts
  • Strong knowledge of financial reports
  • Familiar with Singapore GST submission and reporting
  • Familiar with accounting software usage. Experiences in XERO, MYOB will be preferred
  • Meticulous and detailed in checking and spotting discrepancies
  • Good analytical and thinking skills to proactively find and recommend the best way to improve the system capabilities
  • Ability to work independently, communicate effectively with strong analytical & interpersonal skills
