Group Finance Manager (Bursa Reporting)(KL)

This job requires you to be in charge of Group Finance and Group Reporting. You will also be involved heavily in taxation and treasury. You will manage a team while assisting the GM of Finance on day-to-day ad hoc finance matters.

Description

You will be in charge of:

• Financial Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team across the group entities. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the group finance function, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Foster a culture of financial responsibility and accountability.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance (Bursa Malaysia Focus): Ensure timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and the Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements. Manage the full spectrum of Bursa Malaysia reporting obligations, including quarterly and annual reports, announcements, and circulars. Oversee the financial reporting process across all group entities, ensuring consistency, compliance, and adherence to Bursa Malaysia guidelines. Implement and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting to comply with Bursa Malaysia regulations and prevent fraud. Manage relationships with external auditors, Bursa Malaysia regulators, and tax authorities.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the development and execution of the group's financial strategy, aligning with overall business objectives. Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across the group. Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and business scenarios.
• Treasury & Risk Management: Oversee the group's treasury function, including cash management, foreign exchange risk management, and banking relationships. Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks across the group. Ensure compliance with relevant treasury regulations and policies.
• Business Partnering & Communication: Act as a key financial advisor to senior management and business unit leaders. Provide financial insights and support to drive business growth and profitability. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including investors, analysts, lenders, and rating agencies. This includes preparing presentations and materials for investor briefings and analyst calls, ensuring compliance with Bursa Malaysia's continuous disclosure obligations.

Profile

You will be suitable for this role if you:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
• Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in a senior finance role, with significant experience in a Bursa Malaysia listed company.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, and other relevant regulations.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting tools.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial management software.

Job Offer

You will be rewarded with an attractive package of RM 15000- RM 20000 monthly.
