Supervisor - Engineering, Plant and Process

OVERVIEW

• To carry out breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and improvement project to overall NGC premises.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To carry out breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and improvement project to overall NGC premises.
• To carry out electrical and mechanical breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and improvement project for all areas inside Hartalega NGC premises (Production lines, QA dept., Warehouse, Compounding).
• To ensure subordinate efficiency and to lead them to better productivity.
• To improve department teamwork.
• To lead the team and plan for annual maintenance execution work and complete on time.
• To liaise with contractor or supplier on projects/modification/improvement activities.
• To ensure all expenditure is within the budget.
• To liaise with government officers, especially during audits.
• To ensure LOTO are used for all isolation work.
• To troubleshoot machines and carry out repair and modification if necessary.
• Ready for on-call duty after working hours.
• To ensure downtime is minimal by performing the job efficiently.
• Always provide feedback to superiors regarding any outstanding issues/items.
• To improve overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
• To ensure works/jobs are done with high efficiency and quality.
• To liaise with other departments/plants.
• To ensure KPI targets are achieved.
• To ensure activities carried out solely or jointly with other divisions observe good health and safety standards.
• To ensure all documents are properly maintained in compliance with ISO and to keep track of all records (Checklists, commissioning reports, etc.).
• To ensure all works/jobs are standard compliant.
• To rectify complaints from customers.
• To carry out any jobs assigned by superiors.
• Always adhere to company rules, policies, and regulations.
• To continuously innovate and improve processes and address frequent breakdowns and non-user-friendly equipment.
• Update daily report.
• To perform additional tasks as required within the job scope.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Certificate / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Work Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Supervisory experience.
• Preferably with working experience in glove manufacturing or a similar industry.
