Project Director

Key Accountabilities:

1. Develop a comprehensive project plan, including objectives, specifications, scope, and deliverables, in alignment with the company's goals by conducting a thorough analysis of project requirements, technical specifications, and regulatory considerations for implementing construction projects for PLUS.
2. Lead the project team throughout all phases from design, tender to construction and handover of completed stretch to operations, ensuring the execution of the project is within the agreed time frame and contract value with Government as well as compliance to the design parameters.
3. Develop and control the project budget and cost, monitor all the financial transactions and making necessary adjustments to ensure all expenditure are in line with project objectives.
4. Establish and maintain strong relationship with the government and regulatory agencies to achieve significant impact on project milestone and cost management, by addressing and resolving any issues or conflict that may arise.
5. Monitor the project progress and performance of the appointed consultants & contractors. Identify any issues that can delay the project progress. Develop an alternative plan for meeting the project goals if needed.
6. Establish project dashboard to keep the Board and senior management team informed on the project’s deliverables to ensure their implementation and their effectiveness.
7. Lead and direct the post-project evaluation to ensure the stakeholder acceptance of the project result and quality specifications of the project parameters have been met.
8. Lead, monitor and review the OSHA programs and initiatives to ensure safety is embedded and compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations in all project activities and achieving zero fatality goal.

Key Requirements:

• At least a Degree in Civil engineering and any related disciple. However, having a Master in Civil Engineering is an added advantage
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in the highway management / constructions or relevant field.
