Senior Finance Executive (Cost)

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs duties in support of daily processes, including reconciliation of projects/accounts and review and analysis of monthly financial data.
• Responsible for various financial functions such as analysis, monthly and quarterly corporation performance review, overhead cost review, and sales team profitability within the deadline.
• Prepares and maintains performance sheets of sales, costs, and profit & loss.
• Creates, maintains, and updates financial databases and spreadsheets, and generates various financial reports as required.
• Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy in completing assignments, including reconciliation, summary, and analytical skills.
• Organized and detailed with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data, summarize key concepts, and articulate appropriately.
• Handles sensitive information appropriately.
• Works closely with various departments (accounting, operations, sales, and marketing teams) to support performance reporting on launching events or promotions.
• Identifies issues, engages in problem-solving in cost control, and makes decisions by providing recommendations to superiors and management as required.
• Performs all other related assignments/projects as assigned by the superior from time to time.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking/Business Analytics, or equivalent.
• At least 3 - 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position, preferably in stockbroking/financial industry.
• Preferably a Senior Executive specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting/FP&A or equivalent.
• Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency; knowledge of MySQL & VBA will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English & Mandarin (ability to speak Mandarin will be an added advantage due to the business nature needed).
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure and multitask.
• Self-motivated and able to perform independently.
• Able to start immediately/in short notice period is an added advantage.
