We are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to join our General Trade Team in Kedah, Malaysia. In this role, you will ensure the flawless execution of field plans and activities to maximize sales and develop a profitable channel. Your efforts are crucial to the success of our distributors and trade customers.
What You will be doing:
Sales Performance Management
Accountable for the sell-out performance of all distributors and trade customers
Set and manage sales targets for distributors' salesmen
Oversee trade spend management, including allocation breakdown by Distributors and Sales Representatives
Conduct monthly trade spend planning
Territory Coverage
Develop and execute sales itinerary for the sales team to ensure 100% coverage on the agreed frequency
Regularly update on itineraries
Maintain and update the customer database maintenance
Product Distribution & Sales Growth
Ensure full compliance with outlet type must-have-lists
Implement promotional activities and campaigns in a timely manner
Maximize the usage of POS materials and ensure they are updated regularly
Market Hygiene
Manage market returns from distributors and customers
Organize the clearance of aging stocks
Business Development
Drive new outlet penetration to expand market reach
Coaching and Development
Provide on-the-job coaching with distributor Sales Representatives
Market Intelligence
Gather and communicate market insights and competitor activities to Management, including price changes, promotions, and sampling activities
What we are looking for:
Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Menengah (SPM) or its equivalent
At least 3 years Sales Experience, particularly in Distributors and Sales Team Management
Able to work independently
Effective communicator to all stakeholders
Strong team player
