TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Preparation of fragrance samples.
   1. Assist Sales Managers, Business Development Managers and Sales Director to prepare fragrance submissions based on project briefs.
   2. Prepare various finished product applications as requested by customers.
   3. Prepare samples for customers.
   4. Prepare fragrance samples for QC library requested by manufacturing.
2. Manage Fragrance Library
   1. Replenish expired fragrances and ensure stocks are adequate.
   2. Ensure solvents, sampling bottles, smelling strips, blotters, bottle labels, beakers, plastic bags, pipets are adequate.
   3. Replenish unperfumed bulks and ensure they are within expiry date.
   4. Collate all new fragrances for Business Development Managers to present to Sales Team 1st week of each month.
   5. Ensure fragrances no longer in compliance are segregated.
   6. Ensure laboratory is clean at the end of each working day and fragrances used are placed back to respective shelves according to categories.
3. Manage Laboratory Activities
   1. Dispose of waste oil and recyclable materials correctly as per ISO guidelines.
   2. Ensure all equipment (e.g., viscometer, weighing scales, oven) is in good condition and calibrated.
4. Support Evaluator
   1. Assist in evaluating fragrances in finished products before submitting to customers (compatibility check).
   2. Assist in evaluating fragrances in customers’ base when complaints arise (trouble shooting).
   3. Conduct stability tests in oven and UV box.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

• Minimum SPM holders with a credit in Mathematics.
• Able to communicate in English.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
• Hard-working and able to work independently.
• Must be willing to work in Glenmarie, Shah Alam.
