Responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing and advising on commercial contracts and legal documentation, whether in English or Mandarin
• Perform legal research on legal issues and recent legal developments
• Providing day-to-day support on legal matters and errands
• Assist the team as the case may be in formulating relevant policies, procedures, processes, guidelines or manuals on the management of legal risks and/or processes.
• Keep abreast with applicable laws and regulations relating to the company’s business and operations
• To provide clerical and administrative support to the team.
• Handle errands, schedule and organise meetings, responding to general inquiries.
• To liaise with other departments and external parties where necessary.
• Other related tasks are assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law or equivalent
• Preferred at least 4 years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department with exposure to digital technologies or IT experiences. Prior working experience as in-house counsel would be an added advantage.
• Good organizing skills, thorough & meticulous, tech-savvy or PC literate, results-oriented, organized and able to meet the tight schedule.
• Good drafting and speaking skills (both in English and Mandarin)
• Excellent professionalism, commitment and integrity.
• Excellent communication including verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of commercial strategy and ability to prioritise and align with business needs.
• Able to work with various cross-functional teams.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with good problem-solving skills.
