We are representing our client, a leading plastic packaging materials and film & sheet manufacturer in Malaysia. Our client is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic candidate to fill the position of Assistant Finance Manager.

Main Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual Financial Reports.
Prepare weekly and monthly Cash Flow Reports.
Verify and approve supplier payments and monitor credit control.
Monitor utilisation of banking facilities.
Preparation of bank applications (RC, LC, BG, BA etc).
Monitor AR Aging and highlight long overdue customers.
Responsible for Company Taxation. Ensure Tax Computation information is prepared and submitted to Tax Agent accurately and timely.
Review of tax payable and provision required in financial statements.
Lead and co-ordinate the preparation of Company budget.
Prepare monthly prepayments, accruals, and provisions.
Prepare monthly financial closing.
Prepare Forex/Realised gain or loss for AP and AR.
Undertake any ad hoc tasks assigned by superior or management from time to time.
Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in finance/accounting within the manufacturing industry.
Experience in ERP system will be an added advantage.
Ability to work independently, self-driven, with a positive working attitude and meet tight deadlines.
