Risk Management Executive

About the role

We are seeking a talented Risk Management Executive to join our dynamic and fast-paced team at Mewah Kota Sdn Bhd. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining effective risk management strategies to ensure the continued success and growth of our construction business. This is a full-time position based in Petaling, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

• Identifying, analysing, and assessing potential risks that could impact our construction projects and operations
• Developing and implementing comprehensive risk management plans to mitigate and control identified risks
• Monitoring and regularly reviewing risk management processes to ensure they remain effective and up-to-date
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement risk management strategies and procedures
• Providing regular reports and updates on risk management activities and performance to senior management
• Staying up-to-date with industry best practices, regulations, and trends in risk management
• Providing guidance and training to employees on risk management policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a risk management or related role, preferably within the construction industry
• Proven ability to identify, assess, and manage a wide range of risks, including financial, operational, and compliance risks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and implement effective risk management strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks and methodologies, such as ISO 31000 or COSO
• Proficiency in using risk management software and tools
• Relevant tertiary qualification in risk management, finance, or a related field
