Education Counsellor - UK & Ireland (Penang)

Our Client is a global leader in the international education industry which operates a number of related business lines including international student placement, English language testing, and English language training. As part of their growth plans, they are seeking to hire dedicated and experienced Education Counsellor to be part of their team.

Responsibilities:

• Finalize applications, provide excellent counselling services to students, and establish a good relationship with clients to ensure smooth conversion.
• Be involved in events, exhibitions, and promotions (e.g., school visits, appointments) of affiliates/clients.
• Provide counselling services and information on the UK & Ireland education systems to customers (students/parents).
• Deliver accurate, efficient, and quality service that exceeds customers' expectations.
• Attend to students' queries quickly and professionally.
• Handle students' complaints tactfully and professionally.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality towards customers.
• Foster friendly and professional relationships with all stakeholders including universities and students.
• Provide informative reports and feedback on all marketing activities (e.g., outreach, school visits) to the manager.
• Supply respective application data and statistics to management.

Key Requirements:

• Knowledge of the UK & Ireland, and local education systems.
• A Bachelor's or higher degree in any discipline (or equivalent work experience).
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must have the ability to work in a team and demonstrate teamwork skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Diligent and self-motivated.
• Uphold organizational values.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia & English (written & spoken). Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Remunerations & Benefits:

• Minimum Basic Salary RM2,600 - RM3,300.
