Assistant Process Technician Job

• Assist Process Technician to perform in-process control to ensure that output, quality, standard and specification are achieved in order to meet customer satisfaction and to achieve company/ departmental HSEQ objectives and targets.
• Carrying out manufacturing process for upstream (receiving of raw materials to charging process) and downstream (in-process adjustment, final dilution, filtration and packaging process) to ensure the product specifications and quality target are achieved.
• Carry out rework activity, recycling of used solvents and off-spec resins as advised in order to minimize waste.
• Ensure that operating orders from the superior are carried out in a safe, effective and efficient manner, in accordance with company and departmental HSEQ objectives and targets.
• Ensure that work instructions and working procedures are followed to ensure work is carried out smoothly and with minimal disruptions.
• Assist in troubleshooting of abnormal batches to prevent recurrence of abnormalities.
• Carry out housekeeping to ensure the workplace is generally safe, clean, and tidy at all times.
• Take reasonable care for the health and safety of himself and of other persons, cooperate with superiors, wear or use personal protective equipment provided as appropriate, and comply with health and safety instructions as stipulated under Section 24 OSHA 1994. Undertake the following loss control responsibilities:

1. Identify potential hazards, gains, and possible improvements.
2. Report HSEQ near-misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to superiors or HSE personnel.
3. Report HSEQ incidents and accidents to superiors or HSE personnel.
4. Comply with the policies, legal regulations, Arkema requirements, rules, and procedures of one's sector applying to HSEQ.

• Diploma / certificate / STPM or equivalent.
• Fairly good in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Fairly good in simple mathematics.
• Knowledge of safe forklift operation.
