The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products. Duties & Responsibilities:
Production Management:
Develop and implement production strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Plan and schedule production activities, ensuring that resources, equipment, and materials are effectively allocated to meet production targets.
Monitor and evaluate production performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing measures to increase productivity, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless production workflows and timely resolution of issues.
Team Leadership:
Provide strong leadership and direction to the production team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Recruit, train, and develop production personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews to drive employee engagement and development.
Foster a safe working environment, implementing and enforcing strict safety protocols and practices.
Quality Control:
Establish and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that products meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.
Implement quality assurance processes, conducting regular inspections and audits to identify and resolve quality issues.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality concerns and drive continuous improvement.
Supply Chain Coordination:
Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and components for production.
Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and develop strategies to optimize inventory management and minimize stockouts.
