This can include defining and evolving our workplace strategy, managing office layouts, seating arrangements, meeting rooms and the associated services required to ensure the successful day-to-day operation of our facilities – including the physical assets such as furniture, equipment, and infrastructure.

As our Assistant Facilities Manager, you'll hold a pivotal role within Reckitt, where the seamless functioning of our physical space translates directly to our success. We're looking for a strategic and proactive leader to help us maintain a setting that's not only compliant with health and safety but also thrives in efficiency and innovation. Your responsibilities

  • Coordinate and negotiate with vendors, contractors, suppliers and landlord for facility-related services, supplies, maintenance, security and safety needs.
  • Coordinate office renovations, expansions, relocations, Planned Preventative Maintenances and Corrective Maintenances.
  • Manage office building related on-boarding activities with TA Manager & HRBP (e.g., office pass, petrol cards & season car parking).
  • Supervise and manage office administrative tasks (e.g., office supplies procurement, timely mail handling, and front desk operations).
  • Develop and manage budget for general affairs and facility operations. Monitor expenses, negotiate contracts, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Organize and coordinate employee wellness programs, both event-based and recurring (i.e., Yoga, Futsal, Badminton, etc.).
  • Implement Employee Assistance Program (EAP) in collaboration with EAP service provider.
  • As Health & Safety Lead, ensure that the workplace meets Health and Safety standards, closely liaising with building management on health & safety activities.

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized university or relevant professional qualifications (degree in Facility Management and/or Health & Safety Management preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in office service, building management, or facility management.
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Good interpersonal skills as the role requires a lot of coordination internally and externally.
  • Flexibility in thinking and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ability to review and identify issues and opportunities in business.
  • Strong team player & good in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tough deadlines.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
