Engineering Officer (Japanese Speaker)

The Role

1. Verify and maintain quality standards.
2. Supervise the processing of internal and external quality claims.
3. Verify and approve inspection reports.
4. Compile and verify claims related to failure cost.
5. Verify and process non-conformance production adoption requests.
6. Initiate and follow up on tasks assigned.
7. Support on translation during meetings and document translation.
8. Communicate with HQ during new model setup or quality issues.
9. Coordinate with other departments during quality issues or quality improvement activities.

Ideal Profile

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent, especially from Japan University.

Required language(s): Japanese, English & Bahasa Malaysia to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region.

At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, AUTOCAD, ISO 9001, ISO 14001

Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.

PC literate with good knowledge in Microsoft Office & AutoCAD software.

QC and Statistical Control knowledge.

Knowledge in ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 series is an advantage.
