Job Summary:
As a Talent Sourcer, you will be instrumental in identifying and engaging high-caliber FPGA professionals, including engineers, architects, and leadership candidates. Leveraging your industry expertise and network, you will build pipelines of talent, support hiring strategies, and partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to meet Altera’s growing business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively source, identify, and engage FPGA and semiconductor professionals through various channels, including LinkedIn, industry events, technical forums, and referrals.
- Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for critical FPGA-related roles, ensuring a steady flow of qualified candidates.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and Hiring Managers to understand hiring needs and create effective sourcing strategies.
- Utilize market intelligence to provide insights on talent trends, competitor hiring activities, and salary benchmarks.
- Develop relationships with FPGA engineers, technical leaders, and key industry influencers to strengthen Altera’s employer brand.
- Manage and track candidate engagement using Workday applicant tracking system (ATS) and CRM tools.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess technical competencies and cultural fit.
- Stay updated on FPGA advancements, industry trends, and competitive movements to align sourcing efforts with market dynamics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in talent sourcing, technical recruiting, or executive search, preferably in the semiconductor or FPGA industry.
- Strong knowledge of FPGA technology, industry applications, and key players within the market.
- Established network of FPGA professionals, including engineers, architects, and senior leaders.
- Proficiency in sourcing tools and platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage passive candidates effectively.
- Data-driven approach to sourcing with experience in market research and talent analytics.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
