Project Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Drive the end-to-end process of the project assigned from project confirmation up to project completion.
• Conduct engineering site survey for solar PV system installation.
• Coordinate with designer on the design of the solar PV system including but not limited to electrical, structural and mechanical.
• Plan and manage material purchase and subcontract via ERP system.
• Liaise closely with inter departments involved for the project completion.
• Liaise and manage sub-contractors for their scope of works, schedules and monitoring workmanship qualities during installation.
• Work with internal and/or external parties such as TNB, consulting firms, and local authorities on licensing matters and documentation.
• Liaise and coordinate with TNB HQ & local authorities on meter installation and grid interconnection of solar PV system.
• Setup remote monitoring system and conduct testing & commissioning of the solar PV system.
• Weekly reporting and new project scheduling.
• Assist in best practices and safe work procedures for every project.
• Organize a post mortem meeting for evaluation of project results, challenges faced, and provide recommendations for future improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent (preferably electrical engineering or related field).
• Working experience in construction field, TNB, or project management.
