Assistant Vice President Sales (Chemical manufacturing)

We are currently looking for a talented Assistant Vice President Sales for an established company that specializes in chemical manufacturing and distributing services.

Reporting to: Senior Vice President Sales

The Role

• Drive market growth within assigned regions and industry segments, focusing on acquiring new customers and increasing the value of existing client relationships.

• Design and implement sales plans aligned with regional objectives, segmented by key accounts, geographies, and product lines. Regularly track performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet goals.

• Develop a thorough understanding of customers' business strategies, market positions, and objectives to tailor product and service offerings, ensuring success in securing new business opportunities.

• Strengthen relationships with top clients in the assigned region, introducing loyalty initiatives to foster long-term partnerships and customer retention.

• Collaborate across departments, including Production Planning, Customer Care, Logistics, and Quality, to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Regularly review performance metrics and share updates on service levels and targets with stakeholders.

The Requirements

• Currently serving in a senior sales role with a focus on driving international sales growth and enhancing customer experiences.

• Proven expertise in pursuing high-value B2B opportunities, involving complex, multi-million-dollar deals that require prolonged sales processes and in-depth negotiations.

• Skilled at managing large accounts in a relationship-focused capacity, with a strategic approach to building, expanding, and deepening customer partnerships.

• Proficient in engaging with senior executives, including the C-Suite, through effective communication and compelling presentations.

• Strong interpersonal abilities, adept at fostering long-lasting relationships with clients and partners.
