SITE SAFETY SUPERVISOR (SSS) (VALID YELLOWBOOK)

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the implementation of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) requirements at project site.
2. Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements at the project site.
3. Conduct Toolbox Meetings and safety inductions prior to the start of work.
4. Carry out necessary HIRARC, Risk Assessment or Job Safety Analysis (JSA) required for the job with the assistance of project management team.
5. Conduct regular job site inspections/observations, record findings and take corrective action as necessary.
6. Carry out regular inspections of machinery, tools, equipment, PPE, etc.
7. Prepare and submit weekly and monthly safety reports to SHO/Project Manager promptly.

Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Environmental Science/Building Construction or equivalent.
2. Must have VALID YELLOW BOOK and registered with JKKP as a Site Safety Supervisor (SSS).
3. Minimum 3 years working experience in the construction industry.
4. Familiarity with OSHA regulations, especially in Occupational Safety and Health.
5. PC literate in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project & AutoCAD.
