Otis is growing and is looking for a maintenance mechanic for one of our entities located in Johor Bahru.

Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

On a typical day you will:

1. Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits of the units within your territory.
2. Work within your defined geographical area/territory, managing the portfolio of elevators within it.
3. Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first-time fix.
4. Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation.
5. Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship.

What You Will Need To Be Successful

1. Hold a driver's license.
2. At least 1 year of experience in the elevator sector.
3. Good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
4. A committed professional, with safety as your priority.
5. Comfortable communicating with others.
6. Curious, adaptable, and able to work alone or in a team.
7. Comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
