We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of fire protection equipment.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Maintenance Technician role located in Sendayan Metropark, Seremban. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and maintenance & repair tasks related to fire protection systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and servicing of fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, and emergency lighting.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults in fire protection systems.
• Ensure compliance with local fire safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
• Respond to emergency service calls and perform corrective maintenance as required.
• Install and test new fire protection systems or components when necessary.
• Provide customers with recommendations for system upgrades or improvements.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed in accordance with safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Minimum SPM, with relevant certification in electrical, mechanical, or fire safety fields preferred.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in fire protection system maintenance or related technical field.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of fire protection systems and equipment.
• Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good communication skills in English (and Bahasa Malaysia preferred).
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.

• License: Valid driving license (Class D) is preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments (e.g., high-rise buildings, confined spaces).
