This position reports into Ecommerce Lead and is based at Petaling Jaya - Malaysia

Role reports to: Senior eCommerce Manager

Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

Travel %: Minimal (1-2 trips per year to Singapore)

What you will do:

The role focuses on bringing the eCommerce vision to life by driving business development strategies in line with set priorities. This includes supporting the Senior eCommerce Manager in growing key marketplaces through cross-functional collaboration, leading marketplace operations in partnership with enablers to boost eCommerce growth in Malaysia and Singapore, and managing channel revenue growth while balancing profitability across eCommerce and other sales channels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Key account management and Trade Spend & P&L management for managed accounts
2. Build solid and long-term relationships with strategic partners
3. Manage revenue growth, numbers of orders, number of customers, and average order value for managed accounts
4. Support Senior eCommerce Manager in execution of online marketplace campaigns and thematic promotions
5. Proactively analyze sales trends, conduct analysis on sell-through data, prepare reports and monitor sales performance

eCommerce Campaigns - Execution

1. Lead marketplaces growth acceleration, driving sales performance through managing and executing promotional campaigns, optimizing P&L and management of on-platform tools
2. Optimize traffic & conversion based on integrated eCommerce KPI dashboard. Coordinate brand activation tools & messaging across digital platforms
3. Liaising with cross-functional teams – marketing, sales, distributor, supply chain and finance to coordinate campaign readiness
4. Work closely with sales, operations, and marketing teams across the organization to optimize business practices and efficiency

Digital & eCommerce Insights

1. Competitor tracking of digital activities – pricing and best practices
2. Recommend new platforms for digital experimentation
3. Develop & recommend eCommerce initiatives with a growth mindset

Improving Customer Experience at our Online stores

1. Support on day-to-day administrative and online store operations
2. Adaptation of marketing visuals fit for purpose on eCommerce platforms
3. Ratings & Reviews tracking and sentiments
4. Coordinating and liaising with marketplaces for contest giveaways and product queries from customers

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, Digital Marketing, or a related field
2. 5+ years of hands-on eCommerce experience
3. P&L responsibility, Customer Development, driving traffic and conversion, and digital projects
4. Analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Commercially focused with strong financial acumen and a high level of attention to detail
6. High level of motivation with an ability to create a positive and engaging environment with team members and the sales operation team
