Document Controller (Simpang Renggam, Johor)

Responsibilities

• Maintain project documents and records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Coordinate with project teams to collect, organize, and distribute project documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for construction supervision activities.
• Monitor the documentation process to ensure compliance with regulatory and project requirements.
• Update document control procedures and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support the project team by providing timely and accurate documentation.
• Ensure the proper archiving of project documents for future reference and audits.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure clear and consistent documentation practices.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Senior Resident Engineer and Resident Engineer.

Requirements

• High School Certificate or Diploma in business administration or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in document control or a related role, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
• Familiarity with document control software and systems, and quality management system (ISO).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
