Job Description:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company's goals, vision, and market trends in the construction sector.
- Lead the identification and targeting of new market opportunities, including potential clients, projects, and partnerships.
- Oversee the development of long-term strategic plans to ensure sustainable growth and competitiveness in the market.
- Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform decision-making.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Direct the sales team to develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, managing key accounts and large project opportunities.
- Create and execute marketing campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness, market share, and lead generation.
- Foster relationships with key clients, developers, contractors, and stakeholders to drive business growth.
- Oversee the preparation of sales proposals, tenders, and project bids to ensure high-quality submissions.
- Achieve revenue targets and profitability goals through effective sales and marketing strategies.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the business development team, ensuring high performance and alignment with company goals.
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide training and development opportunities.

Client Relationship Management:

Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the operations, project management, and finance teams to ensure smooth project delivery and financial management.
- Coordinate with the legal and contracts team to review and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop pricing strategies, budgets, and financial forecasts.
Brand Development and Marketing:
- Oversee the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns to enhance the company's brand presence in the construction industry.
- Manage digital marketing, social media, and advertising efforts to increase visibility and attract new clients.
- Ensure marketing materials (brochures, websites, presentations, etc.) are updated and aligned with the company’s services, capabilities, and market positioning.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus.
Experience:
10+ years of experience in business development, sales, and marketing in the construction or related sector.
Proven leadership experience, including team management, strategy development, and cross-functional collaboration.
Strong background in sales and project management within the construction industry, with a focus on large-scale projects or commercial construction.
Extensive experience in client relationship management, proposal preparation, and negotiating contracts.
