Support the Head of Development Planning Section in negotiations, reviewing, drafting, and finalising operational agreement contracts.
Responsible for key operational agreements
Effectively manage and ensure the implementation and compliance of the established operational and commercial contracts.
Coordinate meetings related to interfaces and key operational agreements, both internally and externally, to initiate discussions and formalise settlements for both commercial and technical support.
General Requirements:
Build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders including but not limited to Joint Venture Partners (JVPs), national oil company, local government bodies, communities, and business partners.
Develop and maintain networking with customers .
Working Relationship
Collaborate closely with the Project Execution Team as well as other relevant departments within the Company, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of project objectives.
Key Stakeholders: Maintain effective working relationships with the national oil company and its subsidiaries, and other partners, who are the key stakeholders in the Project. Collaborate on development studies, share project updates, and ensure alignment with their requirements and expectations.
Qualifications / Experience Required
Mandatory:
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the upstream Oil & Gas industry.
Experiences with operational agreements for instance Power purchase agreement, Land Sublease Agreement, water supply agreement, common facilities agreement, Sulphur Sale Agreement, Right of Ways, Pipeline Crossing Agreement, Construction and Tie-In Agreement (CTIA), Land Use Agreement (LUA) etc.
Strong teamwork, communications, and leadership skills.
University degree (or similar qualification) in Engineering, or related fields of study.
Experiences with major oil and gas projects.
Experiences in negotiating oil and gas contracts.
Familiarity with the Malaysian upstream oil & gas industry.
Working knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
