Senior Electrical Engineer (Engineering Design)

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering. Post-graduate degree in relevant discipline is an advantage.
• Min 5-10 years of relevant experience in Electrical design.
• Minimum 3 years with relevant design experience in HV and LV power distribution, AC/DC Power Supply, Renewable Energy, Lighting, Earthing, Lightning Protection, SCADA, Electrical Machines, etc.
• Preferred with Industrial buildings and/or data centres experience.
• Skills on computer simulation software relevant to the engineering design is preferred.
• Good understanding and experience working with authorities.
• Excellent understanding of Code of Practice and local authority submission process.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to engage multi-disciplinary team in mega projects to achieve results for the clients.
• Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), preferably those registered as Professional Engineer (PE) with Practicing Certificate.
• Experience in Autocad and BIM will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Renewable Energy i.e., Solar Power will be an added advantage.
• Required Skill(s): Engineering Design.

Job Description:

• Design experience in HV and LV power distribution, AC/DC power supply, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, SCADA, renewable energy, electrical machines, etc.
• Deliver mechanical design in industrial buildings/data centres having clean room, industrial plant, cold/dry room, hoisting system and automated warehouse.
• Manage the projects to ensure quality work, delivery of projects on time and within budget.
• Liaise with clients and ensure client’s satisfaction is maintained.
• Advise engineers on the project administration and contractual issues.
• Conduct technical discussion on common design problems with engineers.
