SAP FICO Record to Report (R2R) Functional Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Record to Report (R2R) Functional Consultant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the R2R process and will be responsible for configuring and optimizing SAP FICO functionalities to streamline financial reporting and improve overall efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of the Record to Report (R2R) processes within the SAP FICO module.
2. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications for SAP solutions.
3. Optimize and enhance financial reporting processes, including month-end and year-end closing activities, by leveraging SAP FICO capabilities.
4. Support data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance during the transition of financial data to SAP.
5. Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation support to validate configurations and enhancements.
6. Provide training and guidance to end-users on R2R processes and SAP FICO functionalities.
7. Stay updated on best practices and trends in finance and accounting processes, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
8. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and training materials.

Requirements:

1. 5-8 years of experience in SAP FICO configuration and support, specifically in Record to Report (R2R) processes.
2. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance.
3. Experience in integrating SAP FICO with other SAP modules, particularly Controlling (CO), Materials Management (MM), and Sales and Distribution (SD).
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
6. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
7. SAP certification in FICO or relevant finance-related qualifications is highly preferred.
8. Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori applications is a plus.
