The Day-To-Day Activities

  • Brand custodian: You will represent U Mobile's brand identity and inspire, guide, design and construct innovative communications to all Malaysians based on our core brand values.
  • Marketing and communications lead for all corporate brand communications ideas, creative, key message development & all brand-related activities and events.
  • Development of strategic brand plan to create an 'always-on', top-of-mind presence to position U Mobile as an innovative market leader.
  • Lead the development & safeguard the brand experience via 360° marketing scope, including ATL, BTL, Retail, Social and Digital platforms.
  • Organise, manage and implement seamless branded events from small to large scale to enhance brand reputation and awareness.
  • End-to-end responsibility for campaign ideation, budget management, and timely delivery of all projects.
  • Reports to the Head of Brand Comms.

About You

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, Communications or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years in Business, Marketing, Operations, Communications, with prior experience in the telco industry being a strong advantage.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong analytical skills to understand market trends, consumer insights, and behavior.
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and similar spreadsheet software. Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus (e.g., SAP).
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), attention to detail and teamwork mentality.
  • Personal Attributes: Independent, proactive, problem-solver, and able to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
