Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control the implementation of operation of biomedical engineering maintenance services based on the contract agreement with the customer and complying with the standards and regulations set out by the Scope of Works Maintenance of Biomedical Equipment Group 1 & Group 1B to 5 Sultan Ahmad Shah Medical Centre @ IIUM (SASMEC)
• To comply with company policies and follow the standard operation procedures (SOP) and work flow in relation to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 45001, and ISO 37001 certifications
• To carry out Plan Preventive Maintenance (PPM) Work, installations, repairs, adjustments, calibrations, and safety testing on imaging equipment within the targeted date/scheduled if there is no other external factors
• User Training - To prepare module/slide & to provide the training as requested on the agreed date
• To complete the On Job Training Form whenever attending job by vendor and other team members
• To attend and monitor the Testing and Commissioning (T&C)
• To carry out Request Corrective Maintenance (RCM)
• To perform any adhoc duties assigned by the Management from time to time

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Engineering / Medical Electronic / Electronic Engineering or other related disciplines.
• At least 2 years working experience in maintenance of biomedical & imaging equipment.
• Candidate must be hands-on, cooperative, hardworking, teamwork-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Able to write and communicate well in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to work overtime and under pressure with minimum supervision.
