Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  2. Collaborate with senior management to set sales quotas and goals aligned with company objectives.
  3. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and development.
  4. Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitive offerings.

Team Management and Development:

  1. Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise a high-performing sales team.
  2. Set individual sales targets and provide guidance and support to ensure alignment with company goals.
  3. Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them.
  4. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  5. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the sales team.

Customer Relationship Management:

  1. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing solutions.
  2. Act as a point of escalation for customer issues and ensure prompt resolution.
  3. Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a customer-centric approach.

Sales Planning and Execution:

  1. Develop comprehensive sales plans that incorporate both short-term and long-term goals.
  2. Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies and analyzing trends and results.
  3. Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  4. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure effective implementation of sales strategies.
  5. Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.

Collaboration and Communication:

  1. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  2. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless customer experience and operational efficiency.
  3. Implement best practices and process improvements to optimize sales operations and enhance efficiency.
  4. Identify and address barriers to sales effectiveness and propose solutions for improvement.
  5. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  1. At least 5 years of sales experience.
  2. At least 2 years’ experience as sales manager or equivalent role.
  3. Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role, with a successful track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  4. Experience in covering Supplements or Vitamins products to retail pharmacies or through distributors would have an added advantage.
  5. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a diverse team.
  6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Strategic thinker with a solid understanding of sales planning and execution.
  8. Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  9. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
  10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  11. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
  12. Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
  13. Fluency in English; candidates who speak/write Mandarin would have an added advantage.
