Accounting Executive

Responsibilities

If you have a love for Coffee and an Accounting degree and are interested in gaining experience in bookkeeping procedures within a start-up, we’d like to meet you. Your main job will be managing our Coffee Roastery, entering financial transactions into our internal system, reconciling invoices, and helping our team. In addition, you will be expected to be hands-on with our business and travel to our shops to help our staff with deposits, closing, etc. from time to time. Ultimately, you will help our Finance responsible, giving our team transparency in the business and efficiency in all transactions.

Assist our Sr. Accountant & Financial Advisor in the following areas:

• Performing day-to-day accounting operations
• Ensure proper maintenance of documentation and filing to support all accounting entries
• Undertake any other ad-hoc accounting assignment including preparing bank deposits from our Coffee Shops
• Enter financial transactions into SQL Accounting
• Help to update financial reporting for the management team
• Maintain digital and physical financial records
• Assisting with daily, weekly, and monthly closing and preparing statistics and metrics.

Minimum Requirements

• Work experience as an Accounting Assistant
• 1-3 years of experience is great! Fresh graduates with Accounting/Finance background are encouraged to apply
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
• Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (Experience with SQL Accounting software is a big plus)
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
• Possess own transport and willing to travel
• SPM, Diploma, or BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
