M&E Design Coordinator

Job Description

1. Manage and lead a team of draftsman/BIM modellers for a D&B project.
2. Plays a key role of coordination between onshore team and offshore team.
3. Coordinate with structural team and architectural team to ensure the final design is in-line with architect’s design intents and client’s requirements.
4. Ensure the M&E designs comply with relevant codes compliances and regulations.
5. Review & verify consultants design drawings and translate them into shop drawings
6. Monitor the schedule of design processes and submission of shop drawings according to Master Program
7. Supervise draftsmen and check M&E shop drawings for construction
8. Assist draftsmen to amend shop drawings during peak time to make sure that quality drawings are issued for construction on time
9. Assist and supervise the preparation of M&E coordination and shop drawings for the project to be used on site for production
10. Disseminate MEP information to other design teams for overall design coordination
11. Identify and mitigate risks related to M&E design issue during project execution.
12. Maintain accurate documentation of design changes, approvals, and project communications
13. Any other ad-hoc duties and tasks as may be assigned

Job Requirements

1. Diploma/Degree holder in M&E, Specialist Diploma in M&E Coordinator or equivalent
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience as M&E coordinator role. With experience in PPVC D&B projects is a plus
3. Knowledgeable in Singapore Code of Practices, regulations, and specifications for the construction industry
4. Skill in Autocad & Revit
