We are representing one of the world's leading B2B Travel Providers who is expanding their business to Malaysia. In line with their expansion plan, they are seeking a Country Manager who is passionate about sales and keen to explore the tourism industry.
Job Description
The Country Manager will be responsible for driving sales and expanding the market for a B2B travel platform within Malaysia.
This role includes developing a sales strategy, building a strong agent base, and recruiting and leading a high-performing sales team within the country.
Kickstart the B2B sales for the Malaysia market, starting with Kuala Lumpur, and then expanding to the entire country.
Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to grow the agent base and achieve revenue targets.
Analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Drive market penetration and enhance brand visibility in the country.
Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Requirements
Minimum 8+ years of sales/business development work experience in the Travel, FMCG, or any industry.
Passionate about building new business, sales, and the tourism industry.
Ability to analyze data and trends.
Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
Prior experience in selling outbound destinations or HAJ/UMRAH packages is ideal.
Good knowledge of destinations, agents, and hotels in the region.
This role is open to Malaysian candidates only.
Other Information
This is a remote role; may need to travel within Malaysia for business purposes.
May require travel to HQ in India/Dubai once a year.
