Responsibilities:
Candidate must have hands-on experience in account consolidation as this is a role to take care of finance operations. The candidate is not required to do hands-on work; however, he must have past working experience to back up his expertise.
Candidate must be familiar with Bursa requirements (prefer someone who worked in a public listed company).
Candidate must have experience in risk management and know how to review commercial agreements.
Job Role:
Responsible for all spectrums of the integrated finance functions, including operational finance, corporate finance, treasury, and taxation.
Review all monthly management accounts, announcements, and quarterly statutory reports in line with the requirements of a public listed company.
Improve the finance departmental operations and ensure timeliness, accuracy, and efficiency in all the tasked deliverables.
Work closely with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and tax authority.
Provide stand-in support services to departments under the extended Finance departments, namely Credit, Treasury, and Purchasing.
Participate in any integrations of Operation systems to the Financial ERP system.
Review commercial agreements.
Requirements:
Minimum 6-8 years' experience as Finance Manager, prior working in a Public Listed Company.
Possess ACCA / CIMA / MACPA and a Degree in Accounting or its equivalent.
Good leadership skills and attention to detail.
Good working experience/proficiency in ERP system usage and system integrations.
Strong commercial acumen and compliance-oriented in operational internal controls and other statutory compliances.
Good legal understanding of commercial and business risk.
