About the job (B) Principle Representative

Responsibilities:

• Represent the trade office in KL and travel to PNG, Solomon Island, and Vanuatu every month.
• Bridge business relationships with Chinese customers in the above destinations through visits to Chinese clients.
• Act as the trade office's eyes and ears in terms of new developments of projects owned by the Chinese government in these destinations and secure nominations for ocean freight tenders.
• Review port contracts in PNG, Solomon Island, and Vanuatu in the interest of the trade office.
• Monitor CSA and agencies in China on day-to-day activities, including container control, freight negotiation, and customer service management.
• Report to the trade manager and collaborate closely.
• Provide market updates in China regarding competitive activities.
