About our school

The British International School of Kuala Lumpur (BSKL) is a premier international school in Kuala Lumpur serving students from pre-nursery through to sixth form. Our warm and friendly school community values develop the whole child — academically, pastorally, and socially with the school values as our foundation and positive education as our framework.

About the role

We are seeking to appoint a highly dedicated teacher to join our Performing Arts team in the secondary school. With 6 specialists, students can currently opt to take Drama & Music at IGCSE and A-Level. We have introduced a Dance curriculum programme for the new academic year for students in Years 7&8. In the future, we hope to expand this to also offer Dance qualifications and further the Drama provision into Year 13.

About you

With the ability to create a classroom culture where there are no limits to what can be achieved, you will have a university degree in your specialist subject, a teaching qualification, plus considerable teaching experience and knowledge of the curriculum. Receptive to feedback and ready to embrace change, you will be keen to share best practice with colleagues and peers.
