Job Role: Business Solution Functional Architect
Duration: 6 months, extendable
Job Summary: The Functional Architect is a dedicated individual responsible for identifying and detailing product requirements, business capability, and business rules. He/she will be an expert user in relevant applications and have a good understanding of relevant business processes. The Functional Architect also acts as Logical Solution owner who works alongside the solution architect to design end-to-end functional & technical solutions for product/project. This role reports to the Head of Technical Design & Solutioning in the Chief Technology Office.
Experience:
• At least 5-10 years’ proven experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, and solution design.
• Experience in analysing and documenting complex business processes.
• Must have exposure to the full IT project lifecycle.
• Experience in managing business and system requirements for medium to large scale system solutions, especially in the e-payment industry.
• Experience and knowledge in smart card applications and technology, mobile applications, web-based applications, and back office clearing systems are an added advantage.
• Experience in financial business processes is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
The key responsibilities of the role include but are not exclusive to:
• Produce, own, and continue to improve the business capability blueprint.
• Work with the product owner and solution architect to assess current capabilities and identify detailed customer requirements.
• Propose changes to validation tables, code tables, and rule tables.
• Set up and maintain the requirements and traceability deliverables.
• Produce accurate and complete business process documentation and workflows to use in system configuration, data conversion, training materials, and application support, etc.
• Participate in quality management reviews as outlined in the requirement traceability matrix, reviews of the designs, prototypes, and other requirements work products to ensure they fulfil the requirements.
• Share best practices and be consultative to the product/project team throughout the duration of the project.
• Participate and lead, when needed, project meetings with the customer.
