We are representing our client, a fresh food manufacturer/central kitchen providing fresh food and ready-to-eat meals for the F&B and retail industry.
In line with their ongoing business expansion, our client is in search of a QA/QC Manager to oversee the QA and QC department at their new facility located in Balakong, Selangor.
Main Responsibilities
Lead the company’s Quality Assurance & Quality Control Department in establishing & implementing the standards of quality control procedures and protocols to comply with internal & external certification requirements.
Analyze, evaluate & qualify daily production standards and new product-trial run procedures by collecting daily production data, quality control reports, product specifications, and other related data to production QA/QC issues.
Lead in FSSC 22000 application audit, HACCP, Halal Jakim audit, customer compliance audit, and conduct audits on supplier factories.
Manage and handle documentation related to all QA/QC applications such as HACCP, Halal Jakim, GMP, FSSC 22000, and other food safety standards implemented by the company.
Monitor and lead the QA/QC team in quality inspection for samples from raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished products.
Handle and guide the team in corrective action and preventive action for customer complaints and non-conformance issues raised during work processes, internal & external audits.
Oversee & monitor production productivity, efficiency, hygiene standards, QA/QC work schedule, and building pest control.
Provide leadership, training & supervision in kitchen hygiene SOP and ensure the company complies with current laws and regulations, overseeing the quality and proper usage of all food ingredients.
Work closely with other departments and suppliers on product quality issues to ensure the quality of raw materials is monitored & provide solutions for quality improvement where applicable.
Any other duties as assigned by superior/management from time to time.
Job Requirements
Minimum Diploma/Degree holder.
Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC role in the food manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems and quality control best practices.
Experience and knowledge in Hazard Analysis, HACCP, ISO, and FSSC 22000 certification.
