Chief Executive Officer (Asset Management)

Develop and implement robust strategies to expand profitable Asset Backed Lending credit and deposit relationships, ensuring alignment with company policies and credit standards.

  • Lead the company’s bid for asset-backed loans, creating comprehensive action plans to achieve targeted profits.

Growth and Expansion:

  • Evaluate potential acquisitions and development opportunities, conducting thorough feasibility analyses to assess risks and enhance financial returns.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of properties and markets to inform strategic decisions and capitalize on growth opportunities.

Team Development and Training:

  • Train and develop debt collection staff, enhancing their negotiation skills and ensuring compliance with legal and business regulations.
  • Inspire and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Operational Excellence:

  • Create and enforce standard operating procedures to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Oversee customer communication strategies, utilizing various channels to solicit timely payments.
  • Monitor overdue accounts using advanced software and automated systems, reviewing contract terms to ensure compliance.
  • Direct invoicing and billing processes, verifying accuracy and efficiency in debt collection efforts.

Reporting and Compliance:

  • Prepare and present precise performance reports to management, addressing complaints and suggesting improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with audit, tax, and statutory requirements, liaising with legal advisors, auditors, and statutory bodies.

Innovation in Collections:

  • Strategize collection activities to align with the desired P&L of the division, setting targets and spearheading teams to exceed collection goals.
  • Manage the inventory of repossessed assets, ensuring timely auctions or sales to minimize losses.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Oversee call center operations for early resolution of payment issues, working towards minimizing delinquency rates.
  • Resolve collection issues promptly, maintaining a customer-centric approach.

Process Improvement:

  • Conduct regular process reviews to ensure strict adherence to established parameters and systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or related field.
  • MBA or higher degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years senior management experience in asset management, banking or financial services.
  • Proven track record of bidding asset-backed loans and achieving target profits.
  • Extensive experience in evaluating acquisition opportunities and conducting feasibility analyses.
  • Proven success in developing and executing strategic plans for asset-backed lending.
