Job Summary

As the Lead Creative Designer, you will drive and produce high-quality creative solutions for our home care and pet care brands. Along with overseeing a small design team (including our existing Graphic Designer), you will translate brand and marketing objectives into compelling visuals across e-commerce platforms, print materials, and social media channels. Additionally, you will manage scheduling, posting, and monitoring of our social media content to ensure consistent and impactful branding.

Job Description:

1. Creative Strategy & Execution

  1. Develop and execute creative concepts for brand campaigns, ensuring each design aligns with brand identity and meets project goals.
  2. Oversee the end-to-end creation of marketing assets, including product images, packaging, banners, and print collaterals.

2. Social Media Content & Posting Management

  1. Conceptualize and design on-brand, visually engaging graphics for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
  2. Collaborate with the marketing team to align content calendars and campaign objectives; manage scheduling and posting of all content.
  3. Monitor engagement (likes, comments, shares) and respond promptly to audience interactions, in coordination with the marketing team.

3. Brand Consistency & Development

  1. Maintain and refine brand guidelines for both the home care and pet care brands, ensuring cohesive application across all visual touchpoints (online and offline).
  2. Propose updates to brand elements and design systems as needed to keep brand visuals fresh and relevant.

4. Team Mentorship & Leadership

  1. Lead, guide, and mentor the other Graphic Designer, providing regular feedback and ensuring continuous growth and development.
  2. Encourage a collaborative, creative environment, promoting best practices and knowledge-sharing within the team.

5. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams

  1. Coordinate with marketing, product, and sales teams to understand campaign objectives and brand positioning, ensuring designs hit the mark.
  2. Manage relationships with external freelancers or agencies for specialized design needs (e.g., illustration, motion graphics), as appropriate.

6. Project Management

  1. Prioritize multiple projects to meet tight deadlines, balancing design quality and speed of execution.
  2. Keep stakeholders informed of project milestones, manage expectations, and adjust workflows based on feedback and evolving needs.

7. Innovation & Trend Awareness

  1. Stay updated on global design trends, digital tools, and emerging technologies, particularly in the social media space.
  2. Suggest and implement innovative design approaches—interactive elements, motion graphics, or AR filters—to elevate brand presence and engagement.

8. Quality Control & Review

  1. Review and approve all final creative materials, ensuring they meet brand guidelines, technical requirements, and high design standards.
  2. Implement a feedback loop post-campaign to analyze performance metrics (including social media engagement) and refine creative direction for future projects.

9. Brand Expansion & Global Outreach

  1. Support global expansion initiatives for the pet care brand, adapting visuals to align with cultural and market nuances.
  2. Collaborate with the broader team to tailor social media strategies for international audiences.

Job Requirement :

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  2. 3–5 years in a professional design role, ideally with hands-on social media and e-commerce experience; prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
  3. Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with Premiere Pro and After Effects is advantageous.
  4. Understanding of design requirements for various social media platforms, including image sizing, file formats, and optimization techniques.
  5. Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and best practices for posting and monitoring content.
  6. Ability to analyze social media metrics and adapt content strategies for optimal engagement.
  7. Proven ability to conceptualize and create cohesive brand identities, ensuring visual consistency across different mediums.
  8. Strong storytelling skills, able to transform marketing briefs into engaging narratives on social channels.
  9. Ability to handle multiple design and social media projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  10. Excellent organizational skills, with a meticulous eye for detail and quality.
  11. Exceptional communication skills to articulate design ideas and rationales to non-design stakeholders.
