Chemical Process Engineer
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Research and design new equipment for adopting new technology.
- Operate/test pilot scale facilities.
- Participate in new process transfer and outsourcing projects.
- Cooperate with plant engineers to set up and ramp up new manufacturing processes.
- Search papers, interpret data, and analyze test results like research work.
- Conduct experiments, tests, and analyses to investigate chemical composition, materials, and products.
- Collect and interpret process data for pilot and commercial plants.
- Operate pilot scale facilities and improve/develop each component.
- Participate in research and development projects.
- Report on each project.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master/Bachelor in Chemistry (Chemical Engineering) or related science major such as Material Science.
- At least 5 years of experience in production engineering or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Positive attitude, passionate about collaborative teamwork, and excels at interpersonal skills.
- Chemical process engineering experience is preferred.
- Fluent in English.
