Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Keeping the Lights On:
   1. Implement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions to proactively identify and address issues.
   2. Respond to incidents and troubleshoot production issues promptly.
2. Infrastructure Management:
   1. Manage cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Packer.
   2. Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient infrastructure.
3. Coaching and Mentoring:
   1. Mentor junior team members and other developers on DevOps best practices.
   2. Share knowledge and promote a culture of continuous learning.
4. Security:
   1. Implement security best practices across the entire stack.
   2. Collaborate with security team to address security concerns.
5. Developer Experience:
   1. Enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
   2. Provide tools and documentation to streamline development and deployment.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant Information technology industry experience.
2. Minimum 4 years experience in a similar environment.
3. Solid working knowledge in managing cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS).
4. Understanding of security best practices in the context of web applications.
5. Understanding of internetworking concepts and protocols.
6. Linux Administration experience.
