QA/QC Engineer

Role Summary:

As a QA Engineer, you will support in the development, implementation and running of quality control programs and procedures. This position involves the translation of customer specifications and industry standards into product/process criteria and creating control plans to achieve those requirements. You’ll also address the day-to-day issues with production quality within the manufacturing plant, at customer sites and supplier facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with production in order to plan and execute inbound and production checks
• Manage relations with customers or third-party inspectors
• Participate in external supplier quality testing and audits
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) events
• Monitor product portfolio KPIs and drive effective root cause corrective actions where appropriate to address gaps to agreed targets
• Maintain and analyze data to provide information or identify problems for management and stakeholders on the state of a process or product quality
• Collaborate with the department or other company departments to clarify/resolve issues related to QC activities
• Offer all documents as per QAP to customer after coordinating with internal departments and closing all documentation queries

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in engineering and utilization of Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies (manufacturing environment)
• Experience in audit and quality control department
• Understanding of product/process flow
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 3-5 years relevant experience
