Support project management in the global enterprise applications (ERP, SCM, CRM, MDM, etc.) implementation project.
Support the Team with the organization of the Planning Ceremonies (Backlog grooming, Planning, Review & Retro, as well as daily stand-up).
Maintain the backlog, and ensure that JIRA is always updated by the team to reflect the reality of the ongoing operations.
Support the team to remove road-blockers, and be a facilitator for the day-to-day operations in execution, and support the team to respect the timeline.
Coach team to be high-performing teams.
Report to management when deadlines can’t be met, or when there are operational issues encountered in the team.
Qualifications
Experience in project management, integration management, and/or cross-functional team management in an enterprise applications project, preferably in a large size and/or a global project.
Experience working on a global project or in a global work environment.
Experience with Agile methodologies in enterprise-level application development projects.
Experience in managing medium to large scale project implementation.
Experience with manufacturing and supply chain technology projects.
Experience supporting an IT technical organization.
Experience in defining technical requirements, conducting Level of Effort analyses, and bottoms-up project planning.
5+ years of experience in a technical project management position.
2+ years of Agile project management experience.
Skills in coordinating and managing tasks and issues across multiple stakeholders in English.
Preferable to communicate in Japanese or at least eagerness to learn how to deal with Japanese communication.
Strong strategic thinking skills, understands business needs, and brings proactive solutions to the team.
Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams to results.
