Assistant General Manager, Operations (Non-Motor Section)

Responsibilities

1. Overall supervision of the Non-Motor section and ensure smooth running of operations in meeting the SLA.
2. Plan overall operations schedule and ensure proper allocation of resources to deliver the KPIs.
3. Ensure productivity of team resources and continuous coaching and development are provided to the team.
4. Ensure conformity to the company’s guideline and compliance to the Regulatory Authorities requirements.
5. Ensure continuous improvement in work process and system to increase efficiency and cost saving.
6. Ensure projects are in line with company’s transformation direction or BAU.
7. Attend to any complaint, feedback and ensure swift resolution.
8. Review and Update Operations Business Processing Manual and related system user guides (yearly basis if any update).
9. Vendor management including reviewing of vendor agreement on annual basis.
10. Assist section head/HOD in any ad hoc request.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree or professional degree in any field. Minimum 10 years of experience in insurance industry handling non-motor classes.
2. In depth technical knowledge of operations and underwriting in insurance related industries is an added advantage.
3. Good planning, organizational and influencing skills.
4. Good leadership skills.
